Episode 9, April 10, 2020
Hi everyone,

Welcome to Tony's Tap TV. Episode 9. I'm really having a great time sending this stuff out and I'm serious when I ask if anyone has content that they would like me to include, I'm really open at the moment. I'm all ears!

Meanwhile, ARTISTS, check out the link I've provided below to the Howard Gilman Foundation. It's a list of places and organizations that you can apply to as an independent artist, dancer, singer, actor or musician. It's a great resource all in one place.

Today we continue with a clip from my Tap Basics Instructional Video that focuses on shuffle ball change and shuffle toe heel step. Check it out dancers. Did you know that you can go back to ALL the clips from Tap Basics and create your own class by combining everything I've posted so far? You now have instruction on flaps, toe heals, thirds, crawls, time steps and more. Visit the archives to rewind. (see below)

Meanwhile I've added a new International Tap Dance Hall of Fame tribute to the late James Buster Brown. What a great guy Buster was. EVERYONE loved Buster. He was the epitome of a Copasetic for sure!

Next we have a wonderful link to the promo for the GREGORY HINES YOUTH SCHOLARSHIP FUND I put together years ago. The program is solid and it supports our youth program by providing year-round youth training scholarships for kids in need of financial assistance or if they show extra special talent in the area of tap dance. You can visit the GREGORY HINES YOUTH SCHOLARSHIP page on our website for detailed information on how to apply. Or you can make a donation dedicated to this program specifically.

Enjoy everything. And take care. More to come!

PLEASE NOTE: Here's the link to all the previous archived Episodes.

Next check out this link to a segment from my Tap Basics Video that focuses on shuffle ball change & shuffle toe heel step. Please keep time everyone! VERY important.
Finally, here is promotional video I created a few years ago for the Gregory Hines Youth Scholarship Fund that I created when Greg passed away. What can I say, is there anything more important that providing educational training scholarships and getting kids into our Youth Program? And what's the greatest nation? DONATION!
There are numerous instructional and performance products for purchase available now on-line through Vimeo. This is another way you can support the ATDF in this time of need.

Check them out HERE!

This project was created in a "pay what you can" format, and if you like what you see and if you send us some do re mi, we will consider it a donation. No strings attached. On the other hand, if there's no money, then no problem. Just know that the ATDF appreciates any donation you CAN make large or small, especially now in this crazy new world.

So my friends, keep safe, keep well & in the spirit of tap dance ... PLEASE keep time!
