Then this workshop is for you!

Tony Hans and Meaghan Lepping of CMTA Consulting Engineers will navigate us through the differences between the LEED 2009 and LEED v4 rating system versions, and show what's new in LEED v4! A team from CMTA will discuss major changes that USGBC has made in the LEED v4 rating system, breaking down each section, highlighting real-world examples, and giving cost examples. They will include details from the recent launch of LEED v4.1.

Refreshments will be provided.

Attention Urban Activists!  Urban Land Institute (ULI) will be hosting the Second Annual Land Use Development Forum on June 15, 2018.  A cocktail reception with Mayor Greg Fischer will precede the forum on June 14th. This event will focus on the ideas and implementations of urbanism and placemaking in Louisville with the guidance of Janette Sadik-Khan, one of the world's foremost authorities on transportation and urban transformation.  Networking and tours will be offered to ULI members and non-members.

Better Block Volunteer Opportunities
Center For Neighborhoods is proud to announce the next edition of Better Block Louisville! 

It will be on  Woodlawn Avenue between Southern Parkway and South 3rd Street in the Beechmont Neighborhood 5 - 10pm on Friday, June 15th and noon -10 pm on Saturday, June 16th. This tactical urbanism will re-imagine a neighborhood commercial corridor with safety improvements, public art, pop up shops, music, and more!

We have numerous dates and times for you to help with the transformation of Woodlawn Ave! Opportunities for building street furniture, painting, and assembling other items that will be temporarily installed on the street for the Better Block event are listed here:  Click here!

Steve Wiser, FAIA will give a talk at 1 pm, and then at 1:30 pm, he will provide a walking tour of the 'southern' section of Old Louisville, which is bounded by Magnolia, St. James Court, Belgravia Court, and Third Street. The talk event cost is $10 and the walking tour cost is $10. Both events will begin at the Conrad-Caldwell House located at 1402 St. James Court, at intersection with Magnolia.

In addition to the talk and tour, each participant will receive a copy of Steve's book "Haunted Houses of Louisville." 
Proceeds will benefit the Conrad-Caldwell House Museum.

Kentucky Chapter of A4LE (Association of Learning Environments) is hosting a tour of Bellarmine University, Centro Building. The Centro Building was completed in 2016 by Potter & Associates Architects and CMTA Consulting Engineers. The tour and lunch will be on June 21st from 12:00 to 1: 30 pm. 

1 AIA LU  is available for the tour.

Rosa Mosaic is sponsoring the lunch for attendees.
