and that the yarn area is beginning to sprout. The site will continue to grow daily - unlike the tomato plants someone jumped the gun on! ....
What color are you?
Did you know that in one part of the world, instead of asking "How are you?" the way people greet each other is by asking, "What is your color today?"
So tell us, "What is your color today?"
Are you feeling blue? Red? Sunshine yellow?
With all that is happening around us, it would be easy to settle on blue. But it looks like we all have reached a tipping point. We are all slowing down, realizing there is a lot to be grateful for.
We still have a lot of control over our lives, and our feelings, and our wellbeing. One way we choose to feel like ourselves when everything around us is telling us otherwise, is we knit, we crochet, we make with our hands and our minds.
All of us at The Blue Purl are in this business because we love the craft. We love yarn. We love our friends, and our community and all of you for sticking with us, as we try to stick with you.
We do not know what the world will look like -- but we choose to believe it will be better.
We do not know what our business will be -- but we choose to believe it will prosper.
We do not know what tomorrow brings - -but we choose to believe it will be better than today.
That may all seem a bit abstract, so let's be a bit more concrete. What project do you choose to work on and how can we help you?
We will be in the shop Thursday and Friday and a couple hours on Saturday and can arrange front-door pick up, or we can mail you what you need. We can also answer questions via email, and if you would like us to arrange a facetime chat, please let us know.
