Principal Message:  May 24, 2018
D ear Parents,

Can you believe that we only have 5 more wake ups until the end of school?  This is the way that we countdown the number of days left in the Craft household because getting up is the hardest part!  We hope that you will be able to join us on Tuesday for Super Skills Day, also known as field day. I know it will be a day full of fun and games.  Be sure to join us at 8:45 for our Super Skills kick off and a special surprise presentation.
We want to congratulate Mrs. Joyce Boyce, a paraprofessional, and Mrs. Gloria Sweeney, a 4th grade teacher, on their retirement this year.  We wish them the very best on their future adventures, and they will definitely be missed at Lovejoy Elementary.

As always, if you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me.

All My Best,
Wendy Craft

Important News from Student Nutrition: Regarding Change in Student Meal Accounts
In an effort to help minimize negative balances at the end of the school year, beginning Monday, May 14 th , and for the remainder of the school year, students will no longer be able to charge meals which result in the student incurring a negative meal account balance. Students may continue to use their lunch accounts as long as they have a positive meal account balance. Households with students who currently have negative balances will receive reminder emails and phone calls. Federal regulations prohibit us from rolling over negative balances to the next school year. Please arrange to remit payment for any negative lunch accounts your child may have incurred.
All positive balances will be rolled over to next school year. If you have a graduating senior, funds may be transferred to any sibling in the school district. To request a meal account refund, please complete a refund request form, located on the Student Nutrition website . For assistance, please contact us a

The Department of Student Nutrition Services thanks you for your understanding and for allowing us to serve your student(s) this school year.
