This could be anything as simple as, but not limited to;
- Installing solar panels or other energy savings
- Avoiding car use or having a fuel efficient car
- Planting trees at home to reduce temperatures
- Educating others about their carbon footprint

- Composting/growing your own veggies
Resilient South is about to launch a new website about taking action on climate change in Southern Adelaide. It will profile everyday people who are taking action -
and we would love to hear your story!
All you need to do is:
- Email 1-3 photos of yourself doing something you love.

Meet the Author - Hugh Mackay, Australia Reimagined
We have renowned social researcher Hugh Mackay with us on Friday 25th May, 7pm at the Domain Theatre, talking about his latest book
Australia Reimagined
. Hugh is a bestselling author of 19 books, including The Good Life and The Art of Belonging.
Australia's unprecedented run of economic growth has failed to deliver a more stable harmonious society - individualism is rampant, income inequality is growing and the gender revolution is stalling. We are more socially fragmented, more anxious, more depressed, more overweight, more medicated, deeper in debt and increasingly addicted.
Yet Hugh Mackay remains optimistic. In Australia Reimagined, he offers compelling proposals for a more compassionate and socially cohesive Australia.
Hugh's events are always thought provoking. We would love to see you there, follow the link to book

Our people, our stories
When many people make small changes, together we make a big difference.
Our community is interested in living a sustainable lifestyle to create healthier lives and enhance our wellbeing.
These are the stories of people who are making small changes.
Hear their voice and join our story about sustainability.
This story is about Sarah- a participant in the City of Marion Community Leadership Course and advocate for various sustainability initiatives across Adelaide.
Sarah, one of our participants in the City of Marion's 11 week Community Leadership Program is very passionate about the environment, recycling as well as healthy living. Each week we have different community leaders cater for the evening sessions. When it came to Sarah's week, she wowed everyone with her array of healthy vegetarian assortments. As you will see in the attached photo, Sarah wanted to inspire everyone to think about leftovers as something that can be used and even turned into a feast. She made food out of things that would normally be thrown out, including carrot tops (leafy bit) which she turned into a salad, leftover rice turned into rice patties, Sarah even showed everyone that you can use recycled containers including old tuna cans as dishes to put food in. Everyone was very impressed and inspired to recycle more and be ingenuitive with leftover food!
