Dr Sue Whatman | ACHPER National President
I am completely honoured to be writing this first article for the ACHPER Advocate as the 2019-2021 ACHPER President. This three year term is an exciting opportunity to consolidate the period of consolidation of ACHPER's core business in advocacy, leadership and professional learning in Health, Physical Education, Sport and Recreation. I want to turn attention to the letters in our name and revisit some of the tremendous achievements under the Presidency of Associate Professor Shane Pill and the previous and current National Board and the above and beyond efforts of the National Office, with John, Chelsea, Karina and Lorraine.

Sport Integrity in the Classroom

Since rolling out our new face-to-face school education sessions, we have since run FREE fun and engaging school sessions at -
  • North Sydney Girls High, NSW (Year 9 & 10 PASS students)
  • Hawker College, ACT (Year 11 & 12 PE students)
  • Bomaderry High School, NSW (Year 12 PDHPE HSC students)
  • Marist College Ashgrove, QLD (Year 9 & 10 Legal students)
  • Maribyrnong Sports Academy, VIC (Teacher professional development session)
