I am completely honoured to be writing this first article for the ACHPER Advocate as the 2019-2021 ACHPER President. This three year term is an exciting opportunity to consolidate the period of consolidation of ACHPER's core business in advocacy, leadership and professional learning in Health, Physical Education, Sport and Recreation. I want to turn attention to the letters in our name and revisit some of the tremendous achievements under the Presidency of Associate Professor Shane Pill and the previous and current National Board and the above and beyond efforts of the National Office, with John, Chelsea, Karina and Lorraine.
