It was our Lord Jesus himself who said, "Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest." 

It's with great sadness that I'm asking for your prayers for Gretchen Lane. Gretchen's illness has progressed to a point, especially in the last couple of days, in which Bishop Lane and Gretchen, their children, as well as their extended families are receiving now the ministrations of hospice. 

Almighty God looks on Gretchen and comforts her today with the promise of life everlasting. May she gaze upon our Lord, face to face, and taste the blessedness of perfect rest.
