From The Editors March 22nd, 2020

In this special edition of British Columbia Golf's newsletter we have some extremely important information to bring you. A very important announcement was made today by Golf Canada CEO Laurence Applebaum regarding Golf Canada's position on how the golf community should be reacting to the current COVID-19 pandemic.

In light of that position British Columbia Golf has also decided to send a letter to the Province Of British Columbia's Provincial Health Officer, Dr. Bonnie Henry, outlining the steps that BC Golf feels need to be taken in the best interests of the future of golf in BC.

Lastly, also today, the Canadian Olympic Committe and Canadian Paralympic Committe have made the difficult decision to not send Canadian teams to the Olympic and Paralympic Games in the summer of 2020.

Wishing Everyone To Please Stay Safe,

The British Columbia Golf Editors
