It is an exciting time to be at Versailles Baptist Church!
You have been doing such a great job inviting your friends and neighbors that it has resulted in God blessing us with an average of 605 weekly worshippers over the past three months – an  average of 642 in February alone!  To put that into perspective, for the past three months we have averaged a higher weekly attendance than we had on Easter Sunday several years ago.

Since most of this growth has occurred in our second worship service, it is limiting the number of guests we can add and preschoolers we can accommodate in the second worship service. Our staff, deacons, and church leadership have been investigating how to create a greater balance in our two worship services in order to make room for more worshipers.

After surveying several Sunday School classes we have concluded that it is best for us to  adjust our Sunday morning schedule  to help  encourage more participation in the early worship service

When our nation has a time change to “spring forward” on March 8 th , we as a church will also have a time change with our new Sunday Morning schedule. We are in uncharted territory for our church and will continue to evaluate our Sunday Morning schedule and will make additional tweaks if needed. Let’s be in prayer together as we work to reach our community for Christ!
Please be in prayer for our church family. Find prayer concerns and praises here .
