Hello Epiphany Friends!
Grace and peace to you wherever you’re hunkered down! We have been praying for you by name. You are loved.

If you have needs we can help with, please give us a call or email the church. The pastors are in the office during the regular church office hours,
M-Th 9-3:30. We want to be sure we continue to stay connected and that you know we are here for you! And we certainly miss you. What a celebration we will have when we all return to worship!

In the meantime, we’re so grateful that through our live-streaming technology, we can still offer worship to you. You can access the worship service at  https://epiphanyumc.org/live-sermons/  or through our Facebook page  https://www.facebook.com/epiphanyumchurch/    Be sure to comment and interact as much as you can if you access the service on Facebook! We’ll find new ways to stay connected and celebrate when we all return to worship together! Join us on the livestream Saturday at 5 p.m. and re-broadcasts of the service at 9 and 10:30 a.m. Sunday.

Many of you have gotten creative in ways you’re reaching out to your small groups or holding classes using technology! How cool is it that we live in a day where we can still be connected virtually! This weekend we’ll bring in two more new members – Tom and Linda Aultz – virtually! Read more about that in this weekend’s electronic bulletin. The mission of the church continues! Very cool to witness.

It’s been wonderful to see the food and supplies continue to come in. We have a great call to be the Church! How exciting it is to be able to reach new people and offer hope during this season. In fact, although these are difficult times, COVID-19 has given us a new opportunity to reimagine all of ministry in a matter of days. Since people have very little they can do, our potential reach into our community, the greater Cincinnati area and the world has actually increased. We are positioned to proclaim the good news of the gospel further and faster. Thank you for continuing to support the work of Christ in the community by sending in your tithes and offerings. Here’s a link to how you can do that electronically, if you’d like to do that:

I came across this recently and pray it’s a blessing to your day:

Psalm 46:1-11 from the Passion Translation that is so relevant for today:

God, you’re such a safe and powerful place to find refuge!
You’re a proven help in time of trouble—
more than enough and always available whenever I need you.
So we will never fear
even if every structure of support were to crumble away.
We will not fear even when the earth quakes and shakes,
moving mountains and casting them into the sea.
For the raging roar of stormy winds and crashing waves
cannot erode our faith in you.
 ---Pause in God’s presence---

God has a constantly flowing river whose sparkling streams
bring joy and delight to his people.
His river flows right through the city of God Most High,
into his holy dwelling places.
God is in the midst of his city, secure and never shaken.
At daybreak his help will be seen with the appearing of the dawn.
When the nations are in uproar with their tottering kingdoms,
God simply raises his voice
and the earth begins to disintegrate before him.
Here he comes!
The Commander!
The mighty Lord of Angel Armies is on our side.
The God of Jacob fights for us!
  ---Pause in God’s presence---

Everyone look!
Come and see the breathtaking wonders of our God.
For he brings both ruin and revival.
He’s the one who makes conflicts end
throughout the earth,
breaking and burning every weapon of war.
Surrender your anxiety!
Be silent and stop your striving and you will see that I am God.
I am the God above all the nations,
and I will be exalted throughout the whole earth.
Here he stands!
The Commander!
The mighty Lord of Angel Armies is on our side!
The God of Jacob fights for us!
    ----Pause in God’s presence----

Peace,
