Members and Friends: As you may be aware, UUCSW is not currently holding any in-person gatherings in the interest of public health. Below are some ways we will stay connected in the weeks ahead.

Sunday Services Moving Online
This Sunday, March 22nd, we will not hold our originally planned Coming of Age service (to be rescheduled); instead, Rev. Laurel will lead our first livestream service via the online meeting platform Zoom.
Please join us on Sunday, March 22nd at 10:30 am by clicking the following link:
zoom.us/j/537152568
If you are joining from a desktop computer or laptop, you will be prompted to download the Zoom software to your computer. If you are joining from a mobile device (i.e. a smartphone or tablet) then you will be prompted to download the Zoom app from the App/Play Store.
You are invited to log in early on Sunday (beginning at 10:00 am) if you are new to Zoom and would like some time to get acclimated before service starts. Staff will be logged in and available from 10:00 to 10:30 to make sure that everyone is able to access the video and audio and to troubleshoot any issues that come up.
If you would like to test using Zoom prior to Sunday morning, Jerry Breecher is offering a virtual "tech support" meeting on Saturday, March 21st at 11:00 am. To join that meeting, click the following link:
us04web.zoom.us/j/693639551
If you need help getting started, please feel free to email Jerry at
jerry@breecher.com or call him at 508.330.2833.

New Facebook Group!

facebook.com/groups/UUCSW.
If you do not choose to join the group, or do not have a Facebook account, you can still view our
public Facebook page which will continue to be updated as usual with news, events, and announcements.

Transition to Virtual Meetings
UUCSW has acquired a professional account with the online meeting platform
Zoom, and in the coming weeks our staff and Board will be working with our committees and small groups to transition to this new way of getting together. More details will be available soon.

Minister's Discretionary Fund
If you are in need of immediate financial assistance to provide housing, food, or other essentials for yourself or your family, you may reach out to Rev. Laurel for assistance from the Minister's Discretionary Fund. Email her at
laurel.gray@uucsw.org and she will arrange a time to privately discuss your needs. All requests will remain confidential.
If you are able to donate to support our fellow members who are facing financial hardship at this time, you may mail a check,
payable to UUCSW, with "Minister's Discretionary Fund" in the memo to: UUCSW, PO Box 544, Westborough MA 01581. Thank you.
