CANCELLED: April Electronic Recycling Events and Kingwood B.O.P.A.

Hous ton, TX - Mayor Pro Tem Dave Martin would like to make residents aware that in accordance with the emergency declaration voted on yesterday by Mayor Sylvester Turner and Houston City Council, the Solid Waste Management Department (SWMD) has cancelled all events scheduled for the month of April.

This includes the electronic recycling event for the Kingwood area scheduled to take place on Saturday, April 4 and the Clear Lake area event scheduled to take place on Saturday, April 11. SWMD has also cancelled the Kingwood Batteries, Oil, Paint (latex only) and Antifreeze (B.O.P.A) event scheduled for Saturday, April 18.
