A Big Moment at the Former Shuttle Landing Facility

RUSH Construction has been working to install a 20,000-gallon Jet-A fuel storage tank on the apron of the former Shuttle Landing Facility. Pictured here, the team carefully places the fuel tank. This is a big milestone for the project!

The remainder of the Shuttle Landing Facility Fuel Farm Storage project consists of site work, a spill containment area, bollards to protect the fuel tanks, and associated electrical work to tie the new system into the existing electrical system. The tank will allow the runway to comply with Defense Logistics Agency standards.
NOW COMPLETED: Legacy Academy Charter School Project in Titusville
Legacy Charter School
RUSH Construction has just completed repurposing  the former Publix Grocery store in Titusville into a new charter school! This 26,000 SF space has been transformed into the new home of the Legacy Academy Charter School.
Karyn M. Barker
The RUSH Staff is Growing!
Meet Karyn M. Barker, Project Manager

Karyn M. Barker joined the RUSH team in October 2017 as a project manager, and most recently oversaw work on the Legacy Academy Charter School project. She assists other project managers and estimators in their work, providing  insights for business development, and assistance with proposal and presentation development. Additionally, she is an important corporate tech resource for ProCore, a construction project management software.

Born in Brevard County, Karyn is a daughter of the early engineers in the space program. She is a 6th generation Floridian who enjoys Formula One, an international form of auto racing.
