TODAY! Winter Carnival
This afternoon, students and adults put the "Winter" back in Winter Carnival! From talent shows and the annual games of dodgeball and tug-of-war, grades five through twelve participated in a grade vs. grade competition -- much of it outside in blustery conditions -- earning points leading to the winner: 7th Grade in the Middle School, 10th Grade in the Upprer School, and overall...7th Grade!
2020/2021 Reenrollment
The Office of Admissions is pleased to announce the packets containing instructions for online reenrollment will be mailed to parents tomorrow. Expect to receive your reenrollment materials by Monday, March 2. The online portal at mphschool.org/my-mph will open Monday, March 2. The deadline to submit the online reenrollment forms is Tuesday, March 24. Please refer to the packet for specific instructions and contact Admissions with any questions.

Upcoming March 12 and 13 - Conferences
Parent-teacher conferences for students in grades PreK – 11 are scheduled the evening of Thursday, March 12 and all day Friday, March 13 (no conferences for seniors). The Pick-A-Time online scheduler opens on Monday, March 2 at 9:00 a.m. Parents will need their NetClassroom login credentials to sign up for conferences (the same login credentials used to access quarterly report cards).

Lower School conferences will follow the same format as those in the fall. Parents of Lower School students can meet with as many Lower School faculty as they would like.

In Middle and Upper School, conferences are facilitated by the student's advisor only. Students must be in attendance for spring conferences as this will be the time to discuss course selections for next year. Please contact Juhee LaHaye with any questions.
Illness in Lower School
A number of students in all lower school grades were afflicted with a "stomach bug" on Tuesday night/Wednesday, sending students and adults home with similar symptoms. Please help us contain the virus by keeping children with any signs of illness at home, even if they do not have a fever.
New After-School Study Hall
Colleen Congel, Director of Academic Support, and history teacher Jon Mangram have organized an after-school study hall on Mondays and Thursdays for Middle School students. Study Hall begin the week of March 2, 3:15 – 4:00 p.m. in Amos 3. 

Grade 8 Class Trip
Eighth Graders will be traveling to Washington, DC May 6 – May 8. Please contact Matt Spear , Head of Middle School, no later than Wednesday, March 4 if your student will not be able to attend the trip
Friday, February 28 MPHMUN Trip
The MUNTeam will be traveling to NYC on Friday to attend the National High School Model United Nations Conference. Over 20 MPH students are attending under the leadership of Sarah Chhablani.

Tomorrow, Friday, March 6 - Semi-Formal Dance
Upper Schoolers will dance the night away on Friday, 8:00 to 11:00 p.m. in the MPH dining room. To bring a friend or two, students must complete the student guest form.

ATHLETICS.
While winters sports are just concluding, spring sports practices begin on Monday, March 16.
