The movement for open access (OA) is rapidly gaining support in the scholarly publishing community. In principle, it is in the interest of the Canadian Political Science Association (CPSA) and the Société québécoise de science politique (SQSP) to support the OA movement. But OA also creates its own challenges.

UManitoba diversity push in education department: The University of Manitoba has doubled the number of minorities studying to be teachers - years after introducing an aggressive target to admit nearly half of all education students from diverse backgrounds.
