We are thrilled to announce that the Bailey Road Park football field, shared by Bailey Middle School, is now a synthetic turf field! Just like the two soccer fields at Bailey Road Park, the new field surface will reduce annual maintenance costs and drastically increase the number of days it will be open for use. This project was made possible through a partnership between the Town of Cornelius, Carolina Rapids, Bailey Middle School PTO, Bailey Middle School Athletic Booster Club, and Lake Norman Giants.
Join us at the field for the Dedication Ceremony and Ribbon Cutting on Wednesday, September 12, at 5:30 pm.
Pencil this in: We will be hosting a public information session regarding the
Smithville-to-JV Washam Greenway project at Town Hall on Tuesday, October 2, 6:00-8:00 pm. Come learn more!
