IAIA Continuing Education
is offering a range of courses in clothing and textiles, arts and culture, writing, professional development, personal enrichment, and health and wellness.
The use of blankets or shawls are a staple part of clothing and textiles in all Native cultures. This semester, fashion designer and IAIA alumna Patricia Michaels (Taos Pueblo '89), will offer her expertise in design as she helps participants custom design their own blankets or shawls. For those with an entrepreneurial spirit, there will be a free artist and entrepreneurial webinar series focusing on providing useful and practical skills for artists and small business owners. There are four webinars, including an introduction on how to use Quickbooks, how best to work with art galleries, how to develop Facebook social media marketing strategies, and an introduction on best practices using Etsy, an online e-commerce website. Also, for those looking for easy and affordable access to a local fitness facility, the IAIA Fitness Center will be available during Open Hours for Spring 2020 upon enrollment to the Introduction to Fitness class. The class serves as an orientation to the facility and a way to get the most out of an exercise routine.

IAIA Fitness Center Access with Introduction to Fitness Class
Upon enrollment, this class permits you access to the IAIA Fitness Center during Open Hours from February 25 to May 15. Registration includes an "Introduction to Fitness" class as an orientation to the center, staff, and provides instruction on how to get the most out of an exercise routine.
