2017-2018 Annual Sponsorship Drive

More than ever, today's public schools face growing challenges to provide a quality education for all students.  The Lake Park Educational Foundation was established in 1989 to increase community support for educational opportunities. The Lake Park Educational Foundation is vital in meeting the continuing needs of our students.

Becoming a sponsor of the Lake Park Educational Foundation is your opportunity to invest in Lake Park with an annual commitment.  Annual sponsors support initiatives designed to assist students and teachers.

Your annual sponsorship will be used to fund programs that support innovative teaching initiatives, classroom technology, students in need, and student enrichment opportunities.

For questions or more information please contact Becky at (630) 295-5264 or email.

LPEF & Robotics Partnership

The goal of the LPEF & Robotics  Partnership is to grow the robotics  program at Lake Park.  Last year, there were six students in the first year of the club. This year, the club has grown to 17 students. We hope to expend and grow each year.

Robotics allows for classroom STEM concepts to be put to the test as students learn lifelong skills in teamwork, leadership, communication, computer programming  and more.

The robotics group designs, builds  and competes  in local robotic  competitions using only VEX robotic components.  Tournaments are held year-round at the regional , start, and national  levels and culminate  at the VEX Robotics World Championship each April.

2017-2018 Game - "In the Zone"
