Maryland Thermoform Switches Production To Make Supplies For Healthcare Workers Amid COVID-19 Pandemic

Restarting after COVID-19
Many MWCC members are part of "essential organizations" that have kept running throughout the COVID-19 Crisis.  Over the past month, MWCC Member Ryan Miller of  Critical Functions, has supported area businesses in their development and implementation of business continuity and risk management strategies.

As we move toward recovery, some organizations need help prioritizing the restoration of their operations, coordinating efforts to sanitize workspace, and overseeing employee screening.   In fact, the White House has just released these   Guidelines for Opening Up America Again  including guidance for employers.

To address this challenge, Critical Functions and three other local organizations have teamed up together forming the Baltimore Business COVID Recovery Collaborative.  Included in the Collaborative, and developing a packaged solution to implement current government guidance is a leading Baltimore-area remediation company, an onsite medical provider, and a commercial real estate expert.  They also plan to incorporate lean principles into their workflow.  Reach out to Ryan at [email protected]   for support or if you are interested in engaging the Collaborative.
