This September marks the 30th anniversary of Library Card Sign-up Month.  Since 1987, Library Card Sign-up Month has been held each September to mark the beginning of the school year. An Appalachian Regional Library card gives you access to books, audiobooks, dvds, NC Live (magazines, newspapers, databases, language learning software, educational video, and more), ebooks, Specks, and more. This year, the On the Same Page Literary Festival celebrates its 10th year with ten wonderful authors and more than a dozen author readings, writing workshops, and special events. Festival events take place September 12-16 at Ashe County Public Library and Ashe Arts Center. Visit  http://www.onthesamepagefestival.org/ to learn more!
