PBC BUSINESS OF THE MONTH

Tutor Doctor Rochester
Tutor Doctor of Rochester has been owned by Penfield residents Rich and Heather Black since 2016. Both Rich and Heather understand the stresses that academic difficulties can place on a child and his or her family, and they take a very individualized approach to helping families through this experience. Rich and Heather believe that learning is not a one-size-fits-all proposition but should be tailored to each student they meet. Heather works to discover the root causes of a students' academic difficulties, while Rich works to find the very best tutors to create an "AHA" moment for students-- where everything clicks together in understanding.
Tutor Doctor works by creating a customized learning experience for its students. Tutors take the time to understand the way an individual student learns, and then adapt their teaching techniques to a student's particular needs. A unique program can be developed by a tutor to further a student's educational success and help them reach their full potential.

What is the purpose of Business and being a Business Owner?
In a word- Expansion. Or in many words, it's your ability to do in the future what you can't do today, or to make possible what is now
impossible. This is how you are able to impact more people, more powerfully and more profitably every year.
Yet for far too many businesses, one year looks exactly like the next: the same people, the same impact, and the same profitability (which in many cases means little to no profitability).
But what if this time next year, you and your company expanded and became unrecognizable to you, your clients, and the people who depend on you?
This PBC Smart Seminar is sponsored by:

PBC COMMUNITY SERIES:
5 SECRETS TO MAKING COLLEGE MORE AFFORDABLE
Monday October 1st
7:00-8:30 pm
Penfield Public Library
Ruth Braman Room
1985 Baird Road
Penfield, NY 14526
Paying for college can seem like an overwhelming and confusing task, especially for parents going through the college application process for the first time.
What if a student could find the perfect college AND save money on expenses?
The first step towards a student's college success is to start planning NOW. Planning for college can be done as early as freshman year in high school, and this is an ideal time to start exploring different options. Most students wait until the end of their junior year to start researching colleges, and by then they may be missing out on helpful financial opportunities.
