Kids In the News...

The following dancers will be competing in the Carolina Dance Masters Solo Title Preliminaries Saturday, September 22nd: Emma Crowley, Isabella Goodhand, Adrian Jones, Jadra Newman, Sophie Johnson, Peyton Johnson, Reagan Radford, and Reagan McAllister. At this event, the "Top 10" selected from each age division (Petite Miss, Junior Miss, Teen Miss and Senior Miss) will compete at the Solo Title Finals at Greensboro, NC.

Dress Code Reminders:

Dance is a disciplined art form. Let's start the year off right.

~ Leotards and tights are REQUIRED for all classes. (Remember please no panties under tights.)

~ Tights (even in warm weather) are for not only to warm the leg muscles, but for modesty as well. Please remember TIGHTS every week!

~Hair up for all classes. Bun is BEST, but tightly secured ponytails or pigtails work too.

~PLEASE put your names in all dance shoes. New shoes all look alike therefore they easily get lost.

Also...

~Please bring your children to class on time. It is difficult for children to concentrate when they arrive late. Thank you!

Bring a Friend to Class

Bring 1 friend to register and you get 1/2 off one months tuition.
Bring 2 friends to register and you get a months tuition FREE! See the office for more details.

Oleander Parking Lot

Please do not park in the brick building's parking lot next door. That is not ours. Ours is the gravel parking lot behind the building. Access it from Mulberry Street. If you stay during your child's class, please park behind the building. There are plenty of parking spaces. This makes it easier for the parents that are picking up and dropping off. Thank You!

Riverfest Performance

Saturday, October 6th at 2pm

This fall our students will be performing at Riverfest. Dancers should arrive at 1:45, 15 minutes prior to performance.

Mom & Me, Age 2/3 Creative Movement, Age 3/4 Combo, Age 4/5 Combo, ALL Jazz, Hip Hop and Musical Theatre students and ALL performing teams have been invited to perform at this event.

Hampstead United Methodist Performance

Saturday, October 13th at 2pm

This fall our students will be performing at the Hampstead United Methodist Church Fall Festival. Dancers should arrive at 1:45, 15 minutes prior to performance.

Mom & Me, Age 2/3 Creative Movement, Age 3/4 Combo, Age 4/5 Combo, ALL Jazz, Hip Hop and Musical Theatre students and ALL performing teams have been invited to perform at this event.

Dance Shoes & Dance Wear

Now is the time to sell those dance shoes and leotards that your dancer has outgrown. Put shoes in a ziplock bag with your name, size of shoe and price. Drop them in the shoe bins in the office. We have name tags in the office that you can pin on your gently used dance wear clothes. This is the best time to sell!
