Thank you to everyone who participated in yesterday's webinar on the Families First Coronavirus Response Act. Within minutes of the invitation going out, we were at full capacity. This is definitely a hot topic for employers at this time!

Since then, the Department of Labor (“DOL”) yesterday issued guidance in the form of “Questions and Answers,” which can be accessed here . In so doing, the DOL clarified that the Families First Coronavirus Response Act and its paid leave provisions will go into effect on April 1, 2020, not April 2, 2020 as previously reported. As the Questions and Answers provide a wealth of information, employers are well advised to review them in detail.

Attorney Amanda Baer recorded a new webinar last night discussing the DOL's guidance in depth. Click on the above graphic to access the recording.

It is anticipated that the DOL will be publishing later today a model notice or poster related to the Families First Coronavirus Response Act. Once such notice/poster is available, we will circulate it for your use.
