Christ the King Lutheran Church
Cast all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7
Thank you, everyone, for your phone calls to the church office. It is a blessing to be here during these trying times. I wanted to take a few moments to pass along some information that may be useful to you as we transition into Holy Week.
Palm branches are now available for pickup. Buckets are located inside the double doors that lead into the narthex, as well as inside the doors that face Cleveland Road. Briefly stop by CtK and grab a few palms, take them home, then snap a selfie or family photo while waving them. Be sure to send your photos to Chuck Trundle at catrundle@yahoo.com no later than noon on Friday, April 4, so you can make an appearance in our upcoming Palm Sunday worship video!
If you can’t get a palm, no problem! Grab something green and leafy from your yard, make a construction paper palm branch, or print out the coloring sheet located here and use it when taking your photo.
Speaking of Holy Week, we need your help for the Easter Vigil online service. Please fill out the online survey located here to tell us about your favorite passage from the Bible. Staff will compile the responses and identify the congregation's overall favorites. These passages will be read in lieu of the traditional readings during the Easter Vigil service on April 11. Responses are due by Monday, April 6.
Please join the CtK Movie Club this Saturday! The group will get together virtually via Zoom meeting starting at 10 a.m. to discuss the film Into the Wild . You can join the meeting by clicking this link: https://zoom.us/j/102792033 . You can rent or buy the movie digitally through Amazon Video by clicking here .
The Christ in Our Home booklet for April, May, and June is now available. Copies can be found in a box in the front office vestibule or in the narthex vestibule on the table with the palms. If you aren’t able to leave your home, please contact Geoff Layman at (574) 302-1070 or glayman@nd.edu , and he will make sure a member of “God’s Army” delivers one to you.

Copies of the Augsburg Lenten daily devotional booklet Wondrous Love are also still available. The pocket size version is $3 and the large print version is $6. Please contact Sharon Esmont if you would like a copy.
There have been questions about the monies given for flowers to decorate the sanctuary for Easter. More to come on that! The monies donated for ELCA chicks and bees will be forwarded in April. Thanks to all who donated!
Check out some members in the news! Click here , then scroll down to page 3 to enjoy a wonderful article about Bob and Charlotte O’Dell and their volunteer work at CtK.
Remember, if there is anything that I can do to help, just let me know. You can reach me in the church office at (574) 272-4306 or via email at office@ctkluth.com .

Blessings,
Debbie Radecki
