Westland City Hall to Close to Public Through March 31, 2020
Westland, MI (March 18, 2020) - Mayor William R. Wild announced in an effort to help decrease the spread of COVID-19, the City of Westland Administrative Offices will close to the public beginning at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 through 9 a.m. on Tuesday, March 31, 2020. 

The Mayor also announced the temporary closure of the Jefferson Barns Community Vitality Center to the public.  

The City had previously announced the closure of the Friendship Senior Center, the Westland Public Library and the Mike Modano Ice Arena.  For the most current information and updates on other city closures and postponements, please visit www.cityofwestland.com

In accordance with state and federal guidelines with regards to social distancing, Westland City Hall will remain operational with a limited staff.  Residents are encouraged to utilize the City's online services at www.cityofwestland.com during this time.  You can also locate contact information for City Departments on the city's website. City staff will still be responding to emails and voicemails as quickly as possible.

There are also two drop boxes located out front of City Hall for residents to drop off payments and paperwork which will continue to be checked daily.

Essential government services that will continue include public safety, utilities, animal control, housing and building departments, sanitation (including trash collection), and finance.
