The Arkansas Department of Health has released an advisory for travelers coming to Arkansas from New York state and international locations. You can read the advisory

Gov. Asa Hutchinson said that the state is opening $45 million from the COVID-19 Rainy Day Fund for the purpose of purchasing protective equipment and ventilators. He said that it is currently a challenging environment as far as purchasing equipment due to demand from states across the U.S. outstripping supply and production capacity.
Hutchinson said state will also receive federal funds from the CARES Act. He said that he signed an executive order setting up a committee to guide the use of CARES funds from now to Dec. 30.
During the briefing, Hutchinson said that seven people have now died from COVID-19 in Arkansas. It has also spread to an additional county, Arkansas.
Other topics discussed included sports, parks and gatherings. Watch the full press conference

Golf
Hot Springs Village values its golfer community. We would like to remind our golfers to practice social distancing while on the course. This means keeping in groups of less than 10 and keeping at least 6 foot apart.
Bocce
In light of the current situation and new government recommendations, the start of Spring Bocce Leagues has been suspended until after May 1. In the meantime if you wish to use the courts to play with your spouse or individually practice you may do so.
Please be smart and don't share the balls among multiple players, wear gloves and bring Lysol wipes to clean the balls and pollina before and after use. Keep your social distancing and no more than a few people at the facility at the same time.
If you wish to play and want to use the league equipment, call 501-226-3004.
Saline & Garland Counties
Saline County Judge Jeff Arey extended limited access to the Saline County Courthouse, the Courthouse Complex, and all other County Offices until April 20 with any further action being evaluated at that time. Arey stated "[f]or the same reasons Governor Hutchinson closed schools until April 20, we are continuing our cautionary measures (limiting access) in hopes that the citizens of Saline County will conduct business by phone, email or online. These measures will aid in preventing the virus from spreading." Access is limited to County Employees, Court Employees, and Elected Officials having offices in or conducting business in the respective buildings; and those individuals authorized by the respective offices to have access.
Current procedures remain in place in Garland County. Members of the public will be screened for a fever and flu-like symptoms before they are granted access to county offices. All quorum court and committee meetings are postponed until further notice.
