Welcome to week three of Adventure! Museum @ Home! We've gathered up some great stuff to help keep your family engaged, entertained, and having fun! The Adventure! Museum @ Home posts will each have a different combination of fun projects, visits with friends, new things to see, and ideas to inspire. Our mission remains, as always, to create an environment dedicated to the spirit of adventure, and to help kids grow into artists, explorers, and innovators. See you soon, Adventurers!

Adam Tamarkin's Forest Mural

At the time Adventure! Children's Museum opened on March 31, 2017, muralist Adam Tamarkin was in the process of completing the forest mural that provides the serene backdrop for the Squish! Pacific Northwest Camping exhibit at Adventure!. That exhibit has changed a lot since opening day. New flooring, new tents, cave paintings and a bear . . . but the thing we plan to keep around as long as that exhibit exists is Adam's forest mural. We hope you enjoy this short video of the mural in progress as we celebrate the third anniversary of our opening day. <3

Adventure! You-Seum

If there was a museum of you, what would be in it? Would you share a collection, a project, or a story? Would you create an exhibit in clay, or a painting of your dog?

Introducing: Adventure! You-Seum! Submissions are now being accepted for a visual museum featuring all of YOU. Your work, your interests, and your collections.

Goodnight with Dolly

"Goodnight with Dolly" will feature Dolly Parton reading a series of Imagination Library books all carefully chosen for their uplifting content during this time of change. These are live, online story times that start at 4 pm PDT on Thursday April 2.

Tuesday Pokemon Club

With the museum closed, we can't currently host the Pokemon Club every Tuesday at 5 p.m., but that doesn't mean the Pokemon fun should stop! Origamiway.com has some free instructions on how to make your own origami Pikachu! Instructions for Pikachu Origami Project

TUESDAY LEGO CHALLENGE

Lego's official Instagram account challenges you to use your Lego bits to build the best tiny castle! Flip through some sample castles in their post, then share your own with the hashtag #LetsBuildTogether

You can also go big! Use every piece you can to build a GIANT Lego castle! How big can you make it?

CELEBRATE OUR 3RD ANNIVERSARY WITH THIS ADVENTURE! MANDALA
