MOM has been closely monitoring the response to coronavirus. Today (Monday) we were told by Public Health Madison & Dane County that they would recommend for the safety of all that we move to pre-packed boxes of food instead of self-shop.  

Our goal is to continue to have as accessible of food pickup times as possible, however our hours will need to adjust as we adjust our operations.  For more information on our Food Pantry hours, please check out our Coronavirus page, which always has the latest information.

Our offices will be closed to all community members beginning Wednesday, March 18.  All staff will continue to be available and working offsite.  Our Food Pantry and Housing Stability programs will still be active throughout this entire period of time.  Case Managers will be working  with clients virtually.  A small crew of volunteers will continue to assist with our Food Pantry operations.

Many have asked how they can assist during this time - THANK YOU!  Your supportive donations will be vital throughout the coming months to keep serving our community.   Many of the people we serve are already at a greater risk, including low-income families, people with existing health conditions, healthcare workforce, and older adults.  Donations are always welcome and helpful and will allow us to respond locally as best as we are able.  

We are not taking clothing donations and we will not be accepting individual food donations after Tuesday, March 17, 2020.  

We will continue to keep the community updated throughout the coming days and weeks about how you can assist!

Present this coupon at checkout (printed or electronically on your phone) and receive unlimited uses during the month of March for a 5% discount on all of your purchases.  Good at both Madison Metcalfe locations.  Metcalfe's will match the 5% up to $1,000 as a donation to MOM.  

The most recent newsletter mentions an April coupon - but they have extended the event to include March.  A new coupon for the month of April will be posted in a few weeks.

In this our 40th anniversary year, we are celebrating being a part of a caring community where neighbors look out for their neighbors, knowing that a hand extended in friendship and service makes all the difference.
