Based on additional information and guidance from the Federal Government, District 102 Schools will NOT be open to students on Monday, March 16. Schools will be open after 10:30 AM on Monday and Tuesday for students/or parents to pick up packets, or, for families in grades 4-8, to pick up their child's computer. Please stay tuned for more information throughout this week.

The State of Illinois has officially closed schools until March 30, along with all dine-in restaurants and bars beginning Monday night. For families who need assistance with lunch, several area restaurants are providing free lunches for students. District 102 will be surveying all families who received free or reduced lunches to see how District 102 can assist.

We recognize the burden all of this is placing on our families and our communities and appreciate the help that neighbors and the community have provided. While these are truly unprecedented times in modern history, I am confident that our humanity will shine and we will come out of this stronger and even better prepared to face future challenges that will come our way.

As a reminder, NO STUDENT ATTENDANCE Monday, March 16 through Monday, April 6. We will tentatively re-open on Tuesday, April 7. Please make sure to check emails and the District website for updates throughout this period of time.
