I introduced an idea  designed to remind drivers of the
importance of driving safely on neighborhood streets.
They are  18" x 24" signs,  red on one side and yellow on the other.
Let me know if you'd like one for your yard.

The more people who take the census in your community, the more federal money your community stands to receive. About 250,000 people move to Arizona from other states every year. We can all help ensure Arizona gets the funding it deserves when everyone participates.

This weekend's beautiful weather will serve as the perfect backdrop for TWO of Glendale's most popular events - the 25 th Annual Glendale Chocolate Affaire/Experience and the 30 th Annual Early Day Gas Engine and Tractor Show at Sahuaro Ranch Park! For the first time, the Chocolate Experience will be held in our beautiful Civic Center in downtown Glendale - just one block from its former location in Murphy Park.  The Civic Center offers indoor, as well as outdoor space, and for the first time will allow opportunities to enjoy your favorite wine paired with your favorite chocolate.  Businesses and restaurants in Catlin Court and throughout downtown Glendale will offer chocolate-themed reasons for you to stop in and visit!

The tractor and gas engine show is always a crowd pleaser, and this year will feature the re-dedication of the restored dairy barn, horse barn, and blacksmith's shop.  Saturday's events begin at 8am with a tractor drive up 59 th Avenue from City Hall to Sahuaro Ranch Park with Councilmembers driving historic tractors!  Come watch up pop the clutch, grind the gears, and stall in traffic!  A good time for participants and spectators alike. More information on both events can be found elsewhere in this newsletter.

This week the city introduced GlendaleOne, the one stop portal for requesting service from your city, paying your city utility bill, checking dates for bulk trash pick up, and much more!  You can access GlendaleOne from your laptop, tablet, or smartphone.  Just visit the App Store or Google Play to Download GlendaleOne and get started today!  For more information click HERE.
