FCA Update for Huddle Coaches
As we help coaches lead their athletes to Christ, now more than ever, we can serve and minister through the challenges facing our communities due to COVID-19. FCA Staff will continue to be available to encourage you, equip you for the ministry; empowering you to fulfill God’s role for you in this time of great opportunity to share the gospel with those who are responsive. We are here for you!

First and foremost, let's passionately be committed to prayer; for God’s mercy, protection and peace for those impacted by this situation.

As we continue to serve and minister, we want to be great neighbors by not contributing to the perpetuation of this virus and by honoring the authority and recommendations of local government agencies. We also want to keep our eyes fixed on Jesus Christ; our one and only hope in this world. As fear and uncertainty takes center stage worldwide, we encourage you to meditate on these amazing truths   from God’s word:

God is Sovereign!
Job 42:2 - “I know that you can do all things, and that no purpose of yours can be thwarted.”
Love one another!
John 13:34-35 - “…as I have loved you, so you must love one another…”
Do not be afraid!
Joshua 1:9 –“…Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; the LORD your God will be with you.”
Rejoice, Pray, and be Thankful!
1Thess. 5:17-18 –“Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks…this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”

Above all, be encouraged that in all things, God is in control. We have the tremendous opportunity to lead coaches and athletes through this season of life and point them to the One who gives peace. "I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." -John 16:33
FCA Recommendations
  Local FCA events/meetings
·         Honor your local government & health authority mandates & recommendations. Stay informed!
·         Make decisions that are conservative, erring on the side of safety, and consistent with local business, ministry, and organization decisions.
  Keep Ministering
Those in the sports community are losing opportunities to play, compete and meet together, creating a unique opportunity for gospel ministry. Let’s work to provide opportunities to engage, equip and empower coaches and athletes in our communities.

Huddle Coaches: contact athletes who may be interested in joining virtual huddle meetings.

Coaches: connect with your athletes virtually.
