PRAY WITHOUT CEASING
Please join your church in praying for the following requests for the life and mission of the church:
+ As we collect and donate school supplies for Carroll Middle School, pray for the teachers and students who will return to school on
August 27; that Christian teachers would be good witnesses to their students, and that all students would be well supported and guided, no matter their academic ability.
+ Pray for the Triangle YMCA as they conduct interviews to identify our next Community Hope Site Director for the students and families of Navaho Drive. Pray for the Lord to call someone who speaks Spanish, and who can commit to 3-5 years of ministry.
+ Pray for individuals and families in our church who may be dealing with sexual brokenness, that the Lord would bring healing and forgiveness. Pray also for the upcoming conference on this topic, put on by our Mission Partner, Beyond Imagination. Pray that all who attend from our church and others will be strengthened by God's love for them and his power to restore.

Considering membership at Church of the Apostles? Want to learn more about who we are? Join us for the next Discovering Apostles Class on Saturday, September 8 from 9am-12pm.
We are collecting student supplies for Neighbor to Neighbor and teacher supplies for Carroll Middle School again this year! Pick up a bag at church this Sunday and return it with supplies by August 19th.
NeighborHealth Now Open and Serving Neighbors in Need!
NeighborHealth Center, one of our Mission Partners, is now open and providing primary care to our most vulnerable neighbors. They serve all ages and welcome patients with and without insurance. This new community health center is located just across from the Rex Wellness Center on Lake Boone Trail. One of our members, Susanne Berger, is the Founder and has been instrumental in getting this ministry off the ground.
Affordable primary care is a huge need in our community--please help get the word out to our neighbors in need. Learn more at neighborhealthcenter.org, follow @neighborhealthcenter on Facebook and refer patients--immediate appointments are available!

STUDENT MINISTRY
Service Day @ Neighbor to Neighbor: 08-15-18
Join us next Wednesday for our last service project of the summer! We will meet and serve at Neighbor to Neighbor on August 15 from 9am- 12pm. Students (rising 6th-12th) and their families are invited to participate.
We are inviting all students, rising 6th grade-rising seniors to join us on Wednesday, August 22 as we head over to Greensboro for the day to enjoy a day at the Wet and Wild water park. Cost is $30, but you will also need to bring some money for lunch/snacks in the park.
We will meet at the church at 8:30am and will arrive back at church by 6:30 pm that evening.
