” and why is it so critical to our ability to build relationships in our lives and at work? It is more critical than ever to have true self-awareness and self-management skills in order to tackle challenges and create change.
In this highly participatory workshop students will:
- Examine Daniel Goleman's EI model
- Use the quadrant competencies to practice self-assessment
- and Strengthen EI competencies by seeing how the framework plays out in all aspects of life

Elana Brochin, the MACDC Program Director for Health Equity
. We covered how participants could incorporate a health equity lens to their work, discussed the connections between community development, racial equity and health, and we created logic models for organizational programs. If you weren't able to make this past session, register for the

The Resident Leader Training is a free two-day training for any
resident of public housing who would like to enhance their leadership skills, learn about new state regulations, or get involved in a tenant group. Leaders of Local Tenant Organizations, “Task Forces” and other tenant groups are highly encouraged to attend.
