Crazy Callen Weekend - May 4 - 6
The first weekend of the festival is named for D.R. Callen who first suggested that water could be brought from the Dungeness River out to the Sequim-Dungeness Valley. People might have thought he was crazy, but the town rallied and built the irrigation ditches that still exist today.
These days we celebrate with the Innovation Arts & Crafts Show, Family Fun Days, and a host of other events.
Crazy Callen Weekend.
Kid's Parade at Family Fun Days
What better way to celebrate the water that makes farming in the Dungeness-Valley possible, than the opening of the Sequim Farmer's Market. The market runs on Saturday's May through October in downtown Sequim.
The Sequim Farmer's Market features locally grown, organic produce.
