PRAY WITHOUT CEASING
Please join your church in praying for the following requests for the life and mission of the church:

+ Please pray for our pastors, who will take time next Tuesday and Wednesday to plan the Scripture passages and sermon series for the 2018-2019 calendar. Pray for the Holy Spirit to guide and direct according the the plans of the Lord for our church.

+ Please continue to pray for Christine Warner and her husband Cliff (Anglican pastor in Austin), who Patrick mentioned in his sermon. Pray that the Lord will relieve her suffering and give her healing and peace as she heals from being struck by a car. Pray for the Lord to continue his miraculous work.

+ Pray for the people of Syria, that the Lord will bring a swift end to the conflict there, and that the cruelty of their government's actions will be put to an end so that the people are protected, by the Lord's powerful care for them.

WOMEN'S MINISTRY

Would you like to share faith, love, hopes, challenges and LIFE with an Apostles sister believer?

The Women's Mentoring Ministry of Church of the Apostles seeks to create a welcoming environment, meeting women wherever they find themselves on their spiritual journey and equipping them to invest in one another's spiritual growth as disciples of Jesus Christ.

This mentoring program is an opportunity to connect women at Apostles and to encourage them to walk through life together with a sister believer and share life's experiences while growing in their own faith. It is not intended to take the place of needed or desired counseling.

Connection Forms are now available for those interested in being paired as either a Mentor or Mentee for the 2018-2019 Mentoring Program. Forms must be submitted by April 27.

VBS 2018
Sunday, June 24 | 5-8pm
June 25 - 28 | 9am-12pm

This week we will venture onto an uncharted island where kids are rescued by Jesus!  They will be anchored in the truth that Jesus carries them through every storm in life.  They'll learn to hold onto God's promises when they are lonely, they worry, they struggle, do wrong, and feel powerless.  Each day at Shipwrecked VBS, kids travel through field-tested rotations that reinforce relevant Bible Points and immerse kids in new adventures.

NOTE for NON-MEMBERS:
To inquire about registering a child ages 4 and under who do not regularly attend worship at the Church of the Apostles, please contact Stacey Wiley {919-782-0550 x 22} to request registration information.
