Top Economic Development News

April's temperatures have stayed pretty cool but economic development is heating up with Frederick's top dealmakers and projects honored recently at the FRED Awards. This event is also one of my favorite opportunities to thank our commercial real estate community for all that they do to bring new businesses to Frederick County.

There's a lot going on around the County as well and this month features a spotlight on Thurmont and Brunswick so be sure to take a daytrip to one or both soon!

Lastly, we're happy to say that our team is growing and we're looking for two outstanding people to join our team at OED. Please send them our way if you know someone who fits the job descriptions below. As always, feel free to contact me if I can be of any assistance to you.

Sincerely,

Helen Propheter, Director
Frederick County Office of Economic Development
