We were so excited to join Governor Rauner for the signing of
SB-2436 on Thursday, August 2nd at
Eggsperience Pancakes & Cafe in Lakeview East.
This bill will ease the burden on business owners who apply for a liquor license near a church or school. No longer will the business owners need to go through a State amendment, however it must be approved by local jurisdiction. Thank you State Representative Sara Feigneholtz for championing this bill, Alderman Tunney for your local support, and to the Small Business Advocacy Council for all their support and work in bringing this to fruition.
