Stallions in the Spotlight
The Boys Lacrosse program had a great turnout for their annual Alumni game. It was wonderful to see so many alums and a fun way to send off the recent 2018 grads. See our open invitation to the Boys Lacrosse State Championship Celebration Ceremony in the 'Upcoming Events' section below.
Kelly Barcza-Renner '01 and her mom, Mary, attended the Bishop's Golf Classic Reception this past Sunday to award two students the Donald Barcza Memorial Scholarship in honor of her dad. St. Francis DeSales sophomore Amanda Pancake received one of the two $2,500 scholarships.
October will mark two years that Rogan Hoefer '12 has spent teaching English as a second language in Thailand. She started in northern Thailand in a rural region called Isan, and have since moved to Bangkok. Rogan has taught children of every age, as well as mature students from twenty years old to sixty. Currently, she works at a private international school based in central Bangkok. Outside of teaching, most of her time is spent exploring the city, trying new foods, and island hopping on the weekends!
The fifth annual Lennon Loop 5K/10K/1 mile family fun walk on July 22nd gave us a chance to come together this summer to celebrate and remember our beloved teacher, coach, colleague, and friend, Bob Lennon. While the weather threatened to make a soggy race day for the Lennon Loop, it turned out to be a wonderful morning to run! The Lennon Loop helps to fund four $1500 scholarships (awarded annually) in Bob's honor. This years' scholarship winners include: Isabella Marino, Becca Roberts, Isabelle Bangert, and Tamzyn Ordonez. Special thanks to all the race participants this year - over 470 people came out to share a beautiful day, cheer each other on, and share a story or two about Mr. Lennon.

Daily Reflection
O Holy Ghost, divine Spirit of light and love, I consecrate to Thee my understanding, my heart and my will, my whole being for time and for eternity. May my understanding be always obedient to Thy heavenly inspirations and the teachings of the holy Catholic Church, of which Thou art the infallible Guide; may my heart be ever inflamed with love of God and of my neighbor; may my will be ever conformed to the divine will, and may my whole life be a faithful following of the life and virtues of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, to whom with the Father and Thee be honor and glory for ever. Amen.
