   SENATE BILL 662

Restricts the Advocacy Work of Animal Welfare Organizations
SB 662 Seeks to Silence Animal Advocates!

TELL YOUR STATE SENATOR TO VOTE NO ON SENATE BILL 662

Let your state senator know that SB 662 criminalizes free speech and allows governmental agencies, including the Department of Agriculture, to monitor and censor animal welfare advocates.

SB 662 usurps the rights of animal welfare organizations to freely advocate for animals with law enforcement.

WHAT YOU CAN DO:
  • Find out who your state senator is and his/her contact info:       My State Senator
  • Contact your state senator and ask for a NO vote
HUMANE DAY AT THE CAPITOL!
Tuesday, April 10th

The Alliance is hosting its annual Humane Day at the Capitol on Tuesday, April 10, 2018

For more info and to REGISTER (free!) click here

Humane Day is an important way for organizations AND individuals to advocate for animals by visiting with our legislators in Jefferson City. In fact, just by your mere PRESENCE on this day, you are communicating to lawmakers that you are a constituent whom they represent and this is a powerful reminder.

On Humane Day, animal welfare organizations from all parts of Missouri set up displays in the 3rd Floor Rotunda, providing legislators and event attendees with information about efforts and issues related to animal welfare.

Individuals attending are invited to visit the with these organizations at their display tables, receive information from the Alliance on current legislation being considered in the General Assembly, and meet with their legislators.

It's a great day to be an Animal Welfare Advocate!
