From Immigrant to Engineer: Glades Central HS Student Works to Achieve American Dream
You've probably heard someone around the District tell you to "remember your why" at one point or another. Students like Bramhs Louis of Glades Central High School are the "why" - they're the very reason we do this work.
Bramhs came to the United States from Haiti in September 2016, speaking only French and Haitian Creole. Just a year and a half later, he serves as a mentor to other immigrant students, and plans to major in Civil Engineering at Florida Atlantic University in the fall.
