Dear Member:

To keep you updated with the most recent information, I wanted to share further resources for Coronavirus (COVID-19).

As you may know, the Mayor announced yesterday Thursday, March 12, 2020 that the City will be canceling all large events and gatherings of more than 250 people through April 2020.

Long Beach Health Officer, Dr. Anissa Davis, signed a declaration yesterday prohibiting all large-scale events effective immediately and will remain in effect through April 30, 2020, unless further action is taken by the Health Officer to lessen or expand the order. This announcement was made after guidance was issued by Governor Gavin Newsom concerning the management and subsequent cancellation and/or postponement of events with 250 people or more.

Please click here to see the canceled events in Long Beach.

This is an unusual time, but we want you to know that you have our full support. Working with our partners, please see resources and information on implementing a series of actions that minimize impact and support the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) containment strategy.

Lastly, if you have any changes to your hours of operation (limited working hours etc.) you can update you google page. The updates will show on your Business Profile Page on Google Search and on Maps and may assist with keeping your customers up to date. To learn more, click here.

...and that's strictly business!
