Scott County Historical Society Grand Reopening

Scott County Historical Society is excited to announce that they are beginning to replace their HVAC system, after receiving an incredible outpouring of community support and a major grant from the State of Minnesota from the Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund through the Minnesota Historical Society.

A contractor will design a new HVAC system, which will be specially designed to help control humidity and safely preserve collections. Construction will begin by early March and will be well under way when the museum reopens on April 1st.
When they reopen, in addition to a new HVAC system, SCHS will also have two brand new exhibits - HomeBrewed: Prohibition in Scott County, and A Woman's Place: Suffrage in Scott County.

Please join SCHS in celebrating these exhibits (and their new HVAC!) at their Grand Reopening event on Saturday, April 4th. Watch for more information to come.
