Here are the highlights of our recent activity online. Not all everything is included due to timeliness. If an advertised event already took place, we've left it off.

We Want Your News and Events! If you have news, information or upcoming events in your town that are relevant to families who have children with disabilities or special health care needs and would like us to share that information, please email the details to parents@ipulidaho.org for review. Our program coordinator will then share this via IPUL's social media networks. We are also happy to add events to our calendar for people to find.

IPUL Wants to Help You Publicize Your Support Group !

If you have a parent/family support group that's intended to assist those with children who have a disability that you would like to publicize, Idaho Parents Unlimited wants to help. You can submit your group here: https://ipulidaho.org/resources-and-partn…/pub-support-group Please note, not all support groups and resources may be shared by IPUL as they must be in alignment with our organizational mission and goals. We will be reviewing this information before we publish it on our website. Also, the opinions expressed by individuals within the support groups are not necessarily those of IPUL or it's employees. We'll also reserve the right to remove any groups if needed. We now have the first wave of parent support groups up on our website in the Resources & Partners section

Support the passage of H.R.4144

Do you have a story to share? Thanks to the Genetic Alliance for the following information. No child should wait for 5 to 7 years or more to access information that can lead to a genetic diagnosis when one may be suspected. The Ending the Diagnostic Odyssey Act - H.R.4144, ( https://www.congress.gov/bill/116th-congress/house-bill/4144  would make whole-genome genetic testing available to all children with a disease/disorder. Parent Leadership Development 2020 Bear Lake

Idaho Parents Unlimited are happy to announce that we have opened applications for our Parent Leadership Development for 2020.   See our page about Parent Leadership Development on IPUL's Website  This is an intensive five-day training for Idaho parents of children with disabilities in which parents and IPUL staff stay together in a retreat-type setting, taking place April 20-24, 2020. Statewide Training for March - Getting and Keeping the First Job
