Cal State Long Beach Suspends In-Person Classes
Dear Neighbor,

Today California State University Long Beach took the step of cancelling in-person classes for their students in order to address concerns over the spread of COVID-19. Efforts are being made to avoid community transmission of the virus by limiting of large gatherings of people.

Face-to-face classes are canceled from Thursday, March 12, to Tuesday, March 17, to allow instructors to prepare for a switch to online-only classes, which will begin Wednesday, March 18.

The City is also taking an active role in working to address the spread of the virus, and is providing information and resources for people to ensure they are protecting themselves and have updated information.
