YPN Business Spotlight:
Cavale Creative

We are Forrest and Jessica Cavale. We have two boys, Finn [4] and Beck [2] and we own and operate Cavale Creative Co.
Gosh, what do we love about running our own business is a HARD question because we LOVE a lot about running Cavale Creative! I think the thing we may love the most is meeting new people/clients every single week… and then we GET to HELP them and their business grow/become better/more efficient. I think Forrest would also say that one of his favorite parts would be the creative freedom that can come from entrepreneurship.

Cavale Creative is a boutique creative firm. We are host to a wide variety of services: web development, photography, cinematography, creative consulting, social media, marketing, graphic design, public relations and development consulting.
We bring our collective skills and experience together to help your business, agency, or organization bring its vision and mission to life. We do what we do in order to make the world a better place.
We aim to champion creativity wherever we find it. It's not about us. We measure our success by the success of our clients, and the success of others we partner with. Whatever the challenge, we have you covered.
When it comes time to start a new business, grow an existing one, raise funds for an organization, sell a new product, etc, our clients choose to add us to their team. We desire for our clients to dream big...we will do the rest.
Forrest has been an entrepreneurial creative professional for over 12 years with a stellar reputation in professional photography, front-end web design and cinematography (including numerous national TV spots). His experience, all-encompassing skill set and attention to detail serve as a guide every project.

Jessica has a degree in Communications & Public Relations and has been working professionally in that field for over a decade. She has held the role of Development Director for non-profits for the past eight years. She serves on many boards & committees and currently is working at Cavale Creative focusing on Public Relations, Consulting, and Social Media/Marketing.

Ryan Brisco is the full-time Creative Associate: After graduating from Fresno State with a degree in mass communications & journalism, Ryan honed his storytelling skills working for local churches and community benefit organizations creating short films, websites and printed newsletters. He is passionate about telling good stories well and is confident that a hand-crafted, moving narrative will drive your project to success.

The best part of Visalia is the small-town community connections! We just adore our community and network of relationships and feel that Visalia is such a special place to build community, connection, support, & business growth.

We ARE young professionals [kind of... Ha!] But for real, Young Professionals are the future of business in Visalia. We see a shift in businesses and even how business is being done… I think it is invaluable to not only embrace YP, but also to mentor them, guide, and train them to be honest, humble, intelligent leaders in industry.  And networking.. good old fashioned face-to-face networking and building those close community connections...that is where LIFE and BUSINESS happen.

YPN is such a wonderful and necessary committee that gives a valuable voice to YP, as well as an opportunity for community connection and involvement. We are honored and humbled to be a part!

ACT for Women and Girls is a non profit organization working to build power in communities through leadership development, policy, advocacy and movement organizing to advance reproductive justice*.
Definition of RJ:  is the complete physical, mental, spiritual, political, economic, and social well-being of women and girls, and will be achieved when women and girls have the economic, social, and political power and resources to make healthy decisions.

ACT provides leadership development training, centering the needs of the community to address some of the most challenging issues. ACT challenges systems of oppression and informs the community, policy makers, and individuals.

ACT does many different things under one umbrella:
  1. Youth and community programming
  2. Integrated voter engagement (non-partisan)
  3. Events
  4. Grassroots campaigns
  5. legislative policy

We want to engage the community to participate civically, think deeply, represent equitably, and challenge respectfully. We need folks to turn out to our event. We have our Wine. Women. Equality. event on August 23, 2018. We also have opportunities to volunteer to get out the vote in the fall. This is a non-partisan effort. We need money! Support for our work is greatly appreciated in all forms from monetary to volunteer time. Follow us on social media. We have a volunteer manager who is happy to meet with folks interested in volunteering.
