HURRICANE IRMA
Land Storage

While it is uncertain which areas may be hit the hardest by Irma it is expected to reach the Southeast early next week.  Hurricane Irma is noted to be the most intense Atlantic hurricane in 12 years and could pose a dangerous threat to FL, GA, and the Carolina's by this weekend. The thing that we need to be aware of is the high winds and storm surges.  Not to mention making sure your bilges are working and you have batteries that are being kept on charge for the amount of rain we could see.
Please make sure that you contact our office if you would feel safer having your boat pulled and blocked for the storm due to hit our area sometime next week.  A $50.00 deposit will be required at the time of requesting the haul out. This deposit can be converted into a credit toward future work if not used.  While your boat is out of the water you can have us check the zincs and clean the bottom.

Check with your insurance company to see if they will cover the haul out.  In most cases if it is a named storm insurance will cover it.  All payments will be due upfront for any services performed by Prestige Yacht Management.  It would be your responsibility to self submit for possible reimbursement from your insurance company.

Sincerely,
Kirk Benedict
