A Very Special Thank You
I offer my deepest and most profound thanks to my Holy Cross family for the many kindnesses and embracing love offered to Linda and me, not only over the past five weeks, but also during our entire time here.
I have no doubt that we were led to Holy Cross not only for Linda's spiritual gifts to be fully utilized, but also for us both to experience the divine grace personified in this community.
We both have been, and continued to be, blessed by our time and relationships with you.
May the Lord's peace reside in and guide each of us as we continue to support each other in our journeys together.

Sunday, August 19 at 9:30 am we will meet to have a little 'meet  & greet' for our NEW Children's Ministry Coordinator, Kimberly Topo.
We can have a fun time with Monkey, the Piñata, and refreshments to get to know her, any new kiddos, and Adult Leaders a bit better. Hopefully the weather will allow us to do our piñata and refreshments just outside  the entrance  under the tree so we can hang up the piñata! So come on out and monkey around with us a bit!
    Back pack Blessings
will be at the 10:30 am Sunday, August 19 service so have your school aged kiddos bring their backpacks ready for school and receive a blessing to start a new school year's adventure. Know that we will continue to pray for their success and safety and joy for this whole school year."

Summer goes by so fast! Children will go back to school this month which means our Power PACK ministry will begin again soon. Last year, we provided weekend food bags for 29 children at Hickory Tavern Elementary/Middle School. We do not know yet what this year's needs will
be, but it's time to prepare and stock our pantry!
Please help us stock up by purchasing what you can. There's a wagon in the Reception Hall to collect your donations. Thank you so much for your support.
