Letterhead

Earlier today Governor Beshear signed an Executive Order that states that all businesses that are not life-sustaining shall cease operations effective Thursday, March 26, 2020, at 8 p.m., except as needed to conduct Minimum Basic Operations, as defined in this Order. For the purposes of this Order, Life-Sustaining Businesses are all businesses that allow Kentuckians to remain Healthy at Home.

Professional services, including accounting services, are deemed essential in this latest Executive Order. It does say, however, that professional services firms must implement telecommuting and remote work to the fullest extent possible, and should only use in-person interaction to support Minimum Basic Operations or where telecommuting is impossible.
