Not surprisingly, the year of 2020 Vision is Marching along at a rapid pace. Don't forget this is the weekend when our lives and routines are disrupted with the change of time. So, spring your clocks forward Sunday morning if you do not want to be late on Sunday and beyond. This month will be challenging for the ones that are left to man the ship with Russ taking a vacation and two others out having some body work done. If the phone has an extra ring before we can get to it, we apologize in advance.

We just received the beautiful Scaletrains coil cars and SD40T-2 locos. The coil cars are something to behold. We received some of the Atlas new Gunderson auto racks with more on the way. We should be getting the Rapido FA locos soon. They were held up by the protests blocking train movements in the western part of Canada.

With the closure of plants in China due to their New Years and then the virus quarantines, incoming new  products will be delayed somewhat so we are glad to see some of these new items trickle in. We received a list from Walthers with the following items being moved back to April 2020.

We are creating another custom layout and we are progressing well with most of the track affixed and some of the wiring started, all within a little over two weeks' time! Modelers Tip:

Be willing to change, and try new things. With the creative custom work we do at EHS, we are continually changing to find new ways to solve modeling challenges. Paints and painting are a case in point. The old standbys many of us knew and relied on for years are gone and we do not have a choice but to adapt to new materials and techniques. And guess what - it's not that scary, and in fact it's exciting! Dave, our great painter, does not use anything but Tru-Color paint unless he has to because he likes it so much. So as the old cliché states; "try it, you'll like it" applies.
