There have been false "Next Door" posts, false neighborhood email blasts, and perhaps even false local media reports. Let me make this simple:
Do you have standing water in your house? If NO, then your power will NOT be cut and you do NOT have to evacuate this morning.
If your answer is YES, I have standing water in my house, do you live in the Evacuation Zone (I-10, Highway 6, Briar Forest, Gessner)
If you DO have standing water in your house, and DO live in the red shaded evacuation zone, you must have evacuated as of 7:0
0 A.M. this morning, September 3, and your power WILL be cut.
If you do have standing water in your house, and do NOT live in the red shaded evacuation zone, you do NOT have to evacuate and power will NOT be cut.
PLEASE DO NOT SEND THE DISTRICT G OFFICE AN EMAIL ASKING FOR YOUR POWER NOT TO BE CUT IF YOU DO NOT HAVE WATER IN YOUR HOUSE. WE ARE TRYING TO ASSIST AS MANY CONSTITUENTS AS POSSIBLE AND THESE REQUESTS ARE OVERWHELMING OUR ABILITIES TO DO SO.
